The backstory
Meet ZIA — creator & founder with a refined eye for interiors and visual storytelling. Learn more about her path, her sphere, and the inspirations shaping her lab(el) zi—læb and her interior and online work as zialanche.
What sets her brand zi—læb apart is the way she brings together years of experience across agencies, studios and social media. She understands the complexity of these intersections and the multifaceted possibilities within them — using this insight to create clarity, provide direction, and confidently guide brands through the layered landscape of today’s (media) world.
The term that perfectly reflects Zia’s interior world and her unique, aesthetic universe:
zialanche is a fusion of zia and avalanche — a controlled force. The name describes a movement defined by silence, yet charged with strength. Minimalism as a statement. Soft Brutalism as a foundation. Color as a rare, deliberate tool. Cold becomes calm; materials turn sculptural. Metal, acrylic, icy mineral tones and celadon merge into an iconic, monochrome design universe.

ZIA x OBSCURE OBJECTS
„There are rare moments when a dream takes shape.“
What began as a vision several years ago became reality on Valentine’s Day 2026 — in my own home. Since then, my very first object has accompanied me every single day.
In collaboration with Lu & Mo of Obscure Objects, a dining table made from 73 kg of pure aluminum came to life — raw, precise, uncompromising. As a co-designer, I was able to actively shape the development process and contribute my aesthetic signature… from the initial idea to the final form. The fact that the table is now officially part of the Obscure Objects collection and available for purchase fills me with quiet joy and deep pride.

ZIA x Lena-Marie Lange ceramics
„Some ideas are meant to come full circle.“
What started with a simple shape became something I could hold in my hands.
A few months ago, a circle became a defining detail of my very first table — a functional element connecting the legs and tabletop, but also a quiet signature of the design. A circle I had, in a way, been carrying with me long before that: a blackwork tattoo on my skin.
When the idea of creating something together came up with Lena, a dear friend of many years and a ceramic artist whose work I deeply admire, the connection felt almost inevitable. Together, we turned that circle into a small collection of objects: a cup, a coaster and a small plate. Made from clay, shaped by hand and kept deliberately simple… raw, tactile and timeless. A continuation of a design language that started somewhere else and has now found a new expression in ceramics.
I’m incredibly happy to finally share it.
